1. Introduction

Myhandybro ("we", "us", "our") provides an online marketplace that connects individuals seeking home services ("Customers") with skilled trade professionals ("Tradesmen"). Our services are available to users within Scotland and the United Kingdom.

2. Service Description

Our platform allows Customers to post job requests for various home services. Tradesmen can then view these requests and purchase access to the Customer's contact details to provide a quote. Myhandybro facilitates this connection but is not a party to any agreement or contract for work between a Customer and a Tradesman.

3. User Responsibilities

For Customers:

• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in your job requests.
• You are responsible for vetting and selecting a suitable Tradesman for your job. While we perform basic checks, we do not guarantee the quality, skills, or reliability of any Tradesman.
• You are responsible for negotiating terms and payment directly with the Tradesman.

For Tradesmen:

• You agree to provide accurate information about your skills, qualifications, and business.
• You must hold all necessary licenses, insurance, and qualifications required to perform your services.
• You agree to act professionally and deliver high-quality work to Customers you connect with through our platform.

4. Payment Terms

For Customers:

Posting a job and receiving interest from Tradesmen is free of charge for Customers. All payments for completed work are made directly to the Tradesman according to the terms you agree upon.

For Tradesmen:

Tradesmen purchase "Credits" to access Customer contact details for job leads. The current price is £5.00 per credit. One credit is required to unlock the contact details for one job request. To ensure fairness and prevent spam, access to any single job request is limited to a maximum of three Tradesmen. Credits are non-refundable except in circumstances determined at our sole discretion.

5. Limitation of Liability

Myhandybro is a neutral platform. We are not liable for any damages, disputes, or losses arising from the work performed by a Tradesman or the interactions between Customers and Tradesmen. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between a Customer and a Tradesman must be resolved directly between the parties. Myhandybro is not obligated to mediate or resolve such disputes but may offer assistance at its discretion.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Myhandybro platform, including logos, text, and software, is the property of Myhandybro and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without our prior written permission.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on our site. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
